Week 2 NFL Predictions
My picks for all the Week 2 games.
Buffalo Bills at Green Bay Packers:
Well, I am high on the Packers and could not be lower on the Bills. Winner: Packers
Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings:
I have to like the Vikes chances at home and Henne going against a great defense. Winner: Vikings
Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns:
Well, if the Chiefs can beat a good team in the Chargers, I kinda have to take them against one of the worst teams in football. Winner: Chiefs
Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys:
Not a lot to be impressed with on either side, but Dallas is at home so I will give them the nod. Winner: Cowboys
Arizona Cardinals at Atlanta Falcons:
My dislike for the Derek Anderson will extend to this game, even after the horrible showing by the Falcons Week 1. Look for Turner to play big. Winner: Falcons
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers:
I think the Panthers run game can pull this one out, but look for pathetic play on both sides of the ball. Winner: Panthers
Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions:
I just don't see a Stafford-less Lions winning...heck, it is hard enough to see a Stafford-full Lions win. Winner: Eagles
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals:
You know, the Bengals really pulled it together in garbage time. Let's go for upset win. Winner: Bengals
Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans:
Well, this week will be the true test of two major things: VY as a passer against Troy and the Titans D-line against Dennis Dixon and Rashaad. I think both will be fine and my boys take it in a low scoring affair. It is worth noting the Titans destroyed Pitt the year the Steelers won the Superbowl in Nashville...but this is VY's first start against them. Winner: Titans
Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos:
Two teams that surprised me for different reasons last week. I gotta hope Denver puts Carroll in his place and keeps Lord Tebow on the bench. Winner: Broncos
St. Louis Rams at Oakland Raiders:
I kinda like the Rams but not sure if I like Bradford against Oakland's secondary. I guess I will stay with the home team. Winner: Oakland
Houston Texans at Washington Redskins:
Washington looked good Sunday night, but really won it on two dumb Dallas mistakes. Winner: Texans
New England Patriots at New York Jets:
J - E - T - Oh please, Sanchez is terrible. New England will carve them up with the short passing game. Winner: Patriots
Jacksonville Jaguars at San Diego Chargers:
Chargers can't even sell this one out. The common theme, Jacksonville boring fans. Winner: Chargers
New York Giants at Indianapolis Colts:
Well, with no major hooks or stories with this one, hard to know why to watch. Colts O-line is going to be the trick. Winner: Celebrity Spokespeople...uh...Colts
New Orleans Saints at San Francisco 49ers:
This one would have been tough to pick if not for the embarrassment last week. Winner: Saints
